Collaborative living arrangements have been bringing affordable housing solutions, improving social cohesion, regenerating ecology and deepening culture around the world for decades.

An important element that is often overlooked is the process of forming the group and agreements of how the community will operate – the glue.

Co-creating Community provides a practical roadmap to fill that gap from a structured mindset that can help groups avoids the pitfalls that many communities face to save many hours and overall costs of the project.

Meet Dr Jason (DJ)

After decades of practical and academic research in intentional communities I found those that worked had developed and employed a holistic approach to their community lived more affordably, socially connected, ecologically regenerative and culturally aware.

Learning from these communities and the great work of the Global Ecovillage Network, I formed ‘Co-Creating Community’ with the aim to supporting the development of regenerative communities that are socially, ecologically, economically, and culturally regenerative.

In my involvement with ‘Co-Creating Community’ I always aim to operate from established principles, essence and guidelines and align with other professionals and international organisations that are committed to better community outcomes.

Our organisation acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live recognising it was never ceded. We pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We also pay respect to present custodians and have hope for reconciliation and peace among all peoples of all lands.

Growing food in harmony with our environment, building affordable and sustainable homes, celebrating cultural diversity, practicing new economic practices and getting on with each other will enable global regeneration for now and the next seven generations. Our very survival and that of the planet hinges upon these factors equally.
